The Bosco girls played exceptional football today — a credit to their school, their clubs, and their families. They powered past Salerno Salthill on a superb scoreline of 2–17 to 0–10, making history as the first ever Clare school to be crowned Junior All‑Ireland Champions. 🏆💙
Their journey began early this morning as the staff and pupils of Kildysart National School gave them a mighty send‑off. And if that wasn’t enough, they were met in Kiltoom by an incredible wave of support — the entire school travelled, joined by parents and supporters from Kildysart, Fergus Rovers, and Cuil Gaels. The stand was a sea of green and white (and volume levels that would put Croke Park to shame!). 💙🙌
After the final whistle, the celebrations continued all the way home, with bonfires lighting the roads to welcome our champions. 🔥
A huge thanks to Kevin Kelly, who — on very short notice — managed to round up not one but two bonfires in Kildysart. Legend. 🔥😄
Massive congratulations to the girls, their coaches, and everyone involved. A historic day and one that won’t be forgotten anytime soon. 💙🏆
